Cheatcakes 04:26 Feb 26th 2007	I feel very reminiscent today, so here's how Cheatcakes came to be! I originally played on the Horde side on Hyjal as a tauren druid named Trahngarth. I used my friend's account until he wanted it back, at which point I was hooked, so I went and got my own account and started a troll mage named Grumblecakes. I was in the (now somewhat notorious) horde guild "Drunken Monkeys" when I decided to make a dwarf hunter with a friend (whom I can't remember anymore). The dwarf hunter was named Cheatcakes and he sat there for a good week or so before I grew tired of Grumblecakes. And that's when love began... I started playing out my hunter for a while when I decided it was time to join a guild. I was level 15 or so when I was asked to join a guild called Drunken Midgets. I figured it was somewhat ironic that I have two characters that were on "Drunken" guilds so I joined! That didn't last long as the guild was inactive almost immediately. And that's when I met Snow ^^ I was in the IF Auction house and for some reason she bowed to me. I thought to myself: "A level 60 bowing to a lowly level 18?!? How humble!" So I "blushed" at her and she thought it was SOOOO funny!! So, about 15 minutes later, I was asked to sign some KUH-RAZY guild's charter by the name of Vorpal Bunnies. And that's when the corruption began! LOL Back in those days, we had a little more than 15 people in the guild, who were on a good portion of the time. I know that the higher levels (Snow, Tea, Opal, Bizznitch) did quests n stuff together, but I only levelled levelled levelled just so I could gain guild rank. The guild kept growing and I kept progressing through college. By May 2006 I was level 56 and a good portion of the guild as a lot of us still remember it was in place (Remember Parkway, Fezz, Kaellwind, Rugge, Kairuen, Algalord, Rorel, Meseese, Regulate? Yeah, they were all here and very much active at that time! We don't see much of them anymore... =( ). It wasn't until 3 weeks later that Cheatcakes became level 60 and became an ELDER SENIOR OSSIFER OF THE BORPAL VUNNIES! Quite an acheivement, I know! Now, since the expansion, you can find Cheatcakes hangin' out at Zangarmarsh, waiting for College to be over again so he can reach the next waypoint. This is all said so that everyone can better understand the roots of the Vorpal Bunnies from a perspective of one of the few remaining signing members. The Vorpal Bunnies were built on good intentions and fun! Please help all of us keep this Vorpal Spirit alive! We've changed quite a bit over the past 2 years! We've grown! We've matured! We've lost a few along the way to, and, because of it, may have started to lose sight of the guild's common goal: HAVE FUN! Our goal is put in our rules in the form of "do's" and "don't's". But that doesn't mean people should treat other people unkindly (unless they deserve it, which, if you want, I can give a fairly lengthy report on). So everyone, please, we're here to have fun, not to gossip, be offensive, or otherwise be rude! If you don't like having fun and being responsible for your own actions, then this isn't the guild for you! Please, just be kind to people in general, you never know, today might be your last time saying "hi" to them...
Bilopdop 12:26 Feb 26th 2007	I remember when I joined =) I met Cheat on his alt, Icenotnice in Stranglethorn Vale, and he asked if I wanted to join a guild, I said sure, and was promptly invited to Vorpal Bunnies... I was about level 35 then, and been here since =) <3
Cheatcakes 14:26 Feb 26th 2007	I remember that! You were awesome back then and still are! Funny story actually: Icenotnice is on "The Infinite" and they have a "strict" rule where alts are not allowed! Needless to say, Icenotnice is an alt. I was invited to the guild right before The Infinite split apart a while back. And so, even though I was on "The Infinite" I still advertised for the bunnies. So, ever since they split up, I've been popping on Icenotnice every-so-often just to grab enchanting mats/etc and no one ever asks any questions about me possibly being an alt, hopefully I can keep this sense of "mainliness" ^_^
Bees 14:26 Feb 26th 2007	here's some interesting history - of the 350 or so people who have left the bunnies, these ex-bunnies have now reached 70: Adant - Lethality Cajin - Fallen Davyn - Trinity Doggylike - Unguilded Duma - Casual (only in VB for 1 day) Ellebasi - Lethality Ezora - Apocalypse Legion Honstandra - Vox Noctis Isbeth - Tìmeless Kaellwind - Tìmeless Kanzel - The Company Kuri - Kriegsherren Parkway - Apocalypse Legion Rugge - Devils Realm i know i remember a fair few of them :) i've also put together a page showing when people joined the bunnies: alliance.vorpalbunnies.com/... right now it only includes people who are level 60 and over, and those who have joined recently. lost of the data comes from warcraftrealms.com, so it's sometimes a couple of days out, but it's pretty close. when i get a spare few hours i might add dates for more of the lower levels. when someone was joined the guild several times, i'm counting their first join date.
