The Blink Manifesto
PART 1
The Vorpal Bunnies was started as a community. A collection of players who wanted a supportive environment within which to experience the game. For a time, this is what the Bunnies was, and all people were happy with it. If they wanted something different, they simply left.
Recently, however, a different tone has been seeping into the guild. Fractiousness. Different players seeking to promote completely different ways of running the guild. Some simply see the Bunnies as a labor pool, there solely to provide manpower, resources, and knowledge. Others want the Bunnies to organize and come together as a "proper" guild. Still others see the Bunnies as that same simple community it was when it started. The Bunnies as it is cannot take that.
The players simply leeching off the guild's members are a nuisance, nothing more. They can be excised and removed, but they and others like them will always exist. The players seeking a community are happy, content with things as they were and as they are. It is the others, however, the players seeking more structure and formality, who have issues. Issues that cannot be redressed within the guild without changing what the guild is at it's core.
Rather than attempting to change the Bunnies into something it cannot be, nor should it TRY to be, these players have elected to leave, and seek something different. The Bunnies are a community, not a guild. It's why we love it, and ultimately, why we left it.
PART 2
Blink was started as a way for a few of us to focus on "progression", which basically means we want to experience more of the game than we can now. At this point, the only way to do that is to run instances and raids, something which the Bunnies is simply not set up to do.
Blink was not set up out of spite, because we don't like the Bunnies, or because we don't enjoy playing alongside the more prominent figures in the Bunnies.

Berne, you are a master of words. For that, I commend you.
I consider the bunnies to be a safe-haven. A place for me to sit back, relax, tell a few jokes, and make friends.
That being said, I think Blink could have closer ties with the bunnies in the future? And this is completely up to you guys in Blink, but, perhaps we (as the Vorpal Bunnies) could have a similar, but more intimate, relationship with you (Blink) as we did with Timeless.
I kind of think of Blink (after reading what Berne wrote) as an extension of the Bunnies. Not exactly a sister guild, but a progressed "raid" version of the bunnies. Blink's scope, I believe, is a little more focused than our's (Vorpal Bunnies). If I'm getting this wrong, please correct me. I realize that you guys just started, so raiding might not be in the immediate forecast, but I'm just trying to figure out how we should relate from now on? I think our inter-guild relationship could be a lot more with you (Blink) and more official than we currently do with other guilds such as Timeless.
The Vorpal Bunnies, so long as I can help it, will always be around as a safe-haven for anyone who wants it to be.
And right now, I want, let me clarify, NEED to stop yapping and get to my homework! LOL
In summary, I think the two guilds can have a strong relationship. This could either help us, or do nothing at all. I don't see a bad outcome, but it all depends on how people react and how things are carried out.
