Guild Information
Vorpal Bunnies is a tight-knit Alliance Guild on the venerable US Hyjal server of World of WarCraft.
The Horde branch of the guild resides on the US Norgannon server.
Vorpal Bunnies' Golden Rule: HAVE FUN!
World of WarCraft, we feel, is an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of real life.
We hope that you feel the same and enjoy the laughter, discussions, and antics we have here.
With this being said, there are a few rules you must abide by:
The Ten Commandments of The Vorpal Bunnies
- Do not expect a free ride. If you need help with quests (in or out of instances) you will get help. If you want some high level to run you through an instance to get an item, get a PUG.
- No cussing on TeamSpeak (TS), Ventrilo (Vent), Guild Channel, or any other channel. Cussing makes you and the guild look bad. If cussing will be a problem, we have an adult channel in TS that is password-protected for respect of our younger players. We have kids who play with their parents and out of respect we do not cuss.
- Ninja Looting is never tolerated. Period. There are lots of other people just like you that are trying to get the items. Play nice and be fair.
- No spamming. That means in guild channel or any other channel. Spamming gives you and the guild a bad name.
- No selling to guild-members. If you are trying to make money, sell it in the auction house or sell it outside of the guild (i.e. trade channel or otherwise).
- We do not lend or borrow money. All of us work for what we have and everyone should do the same. We do not have problems helping people with "training" but we will not help for free.
- Although twinks do not help the guild, we do not shun them from the guild. However, twinks will not get free enchants, items, etc. "Twinking" should be done on your own time and should not interfere with other guild-members.
- Though most people have no problem making items for free, it is only polite to get the mats they need for what you want. Guild-members will never charge for labor and sometimes, if they already have the mats, they may supply those too! If you feel in-debt to someone for a particularly expensive item, in-kind gifts work as payment.
- When having issues with another player (guild member or otherwise), please come to a Senior Bunny, Elder Senior Bunny (Elder SB), or Guild Leader and they will do what they can to help solve the situation. Please keep the issue out of guild chat, general chat, etc.
- All officers (rank Senior Bunny and higher) must have TS and Guild Event Manager (GEM) installed. Even if you do not have a microphone for TS, you can listen and respond via chat. It is very important to us that we communicate easily and clearly. If you would like to use our TeamSpeak server for an instance run and do not have the correct rank, we will give out the TS info only if you are doing an instance run that require better than average coordination to complete. The instances that are deemed as "TeamSpeak-worthy" start at Zul'Farrak (minimum of level 43 required). Any instance requiring a level minimum of 43 or higher is "TeamSpeak-worthy."
This guild is a fun place and we want players looking to help make it better.
Show commitment and you will go far and get more.
If you have read all of this and still want a place to call home, then welcome!
Guild Rankings
When you join the guild, you'll be a Newborn Bunny for at least the first month while you are evaluated. After we have decided that we love you, you will be given a level-based rank. The rankings are as follow:
After you have become a Big Bunny, you are eligible to become a Senior Bunny.
In order to become a Senior Bunny, we want to see efforts made to include the guild in what you do.
This does not mean doing only guild activities, this means showing an effort to be active with the guild.
After you have become a Senior Bunny, you are eligible to become an Elder Senior Bunny (Elder SB).
This is decided by a monthly vote by the current Senior Bunnies, Elder SB's, and Guild Leaders.
If you want to become an Elder SB, be prepared to help out other guild members, join in regular guild raids, and be an awesome person.
Alts are welcome in the guild -- however, they will get the rank appropriate to their level.
The only exception is if you are an Elder SB and your alt hits level 51, your alt will automatically be promoted to an Elder SB.
The important differences between the various ranks are as follows:
- Newborn Bunny
- Prove yourself to the rest of the guild.
-
Baby Bunny,
Teenage Bunny,
Veteran Bunny,
Elder Bunny and
Big Bunny
- Play with the rest of the guild and be awesome.
- Senior Bunny
- Take part in officer chat.
- Elder Senior Bunny
- Take part in officer chat, invite new members, and kick members (by consensus of 3 Senior Bunnies, Elder SB's, and/or Guild Leaders).
- Guild Leaders
- Take part in officer chat, invite new members, kick members, and change these rules.
