The Black Morass

I think it's fair to say that Opening the Dark Portal has been the most fun so far. It consists of 18 waves of mobs with an elite boss, with waves 6, 12, and 18 containing bosses. The battle generally consists of the raid leader (yes! a 5-man that needs coordination) shouting "adds down, drink up" and "healer up, going in", since the waves come so close together and you need to heal up quickly.

The first boss, Chrono Lord Deja, went down first time pretty easily. The trash leading up to the start drops a ton of leather too (after all our attempts, both skinners got around 50 knothide each).

The second boss, Temporus, was alot tougher, with a nasty stacking heal debuff and big knockback. Best try was down to 37%

But who really cares about the boss, since Bees got a new bow! (and so did Grumpee - it dropped twice).

It's a really tough instance, but practice makes perfect. Definately needs everyone to be on their 'A' game, which makes it really fun. We'll be back again soon.
